I said the Mourner’s Kaddish for the first time tonight.

I don’t believe in a heaven and don’t consider myself a practicing Jew but I do respect my promises and in my heart I believe that for all my father did for me he deserves a son that reads Kaddish for him nightly in a sign of respect.

I feel that it is the least I can do for him and our family.
