When you become less proactive about registering for new technologies and services you soon may find your preferred handle is taken. It is always strange to find someone else who goes by the same name as you on the internet, even if it happens to be your last name.

Yeah this was just the thing I find very odd in my early days of using internet. Especially when i tried to sign up for something and found that some one has already taken my name id.
